Weekly Weight Check-In
After 6 weeks of eating low carb, I have lost 6.1% of my starting weight. I had a bit of a stall the previous week but feel back on track from this past week. I do think cutting out the banana and chocolate chip dessert I had been eating helped.
Notes: It was a bit of a random eating day as I wasn’t very hungry until after lunch and except for dinner I was basically eating leftovers. Made more room from all the great food I bought at the market this morning! I also made a delicious dinner tonight, from the Nom Nom Paleo cookbook. I am less than surprised that it turned out so well as I’ve loved everything I’ve made from there. Can’t wait to try more!
Breakfast: Two and a half eggs, seasoned with Flavor God Everything seasoning, plus an earl grey tea with a packet of Truvia and a splash of half and half.
Snack 1: Two small pieces of manchego cheese (not pictured)
Lunch: Leftover skirt steak with a marinade by Flavor God and some sautéed onions and hell pepper
Snack 2: An almond meal flat muffin that my mom made, a small handful of blueberries, one small piece of manchego cheese, half a pear, and a small handful of cashews (blueberries, cheese, and cashews not pictured)
Dessert: Half a glass of strawberry-banana “ice cream”, from the Nom Nom Paleo cookbook
