Notes: I doubt it was a good idea to take a wine tasting trip two days after I finished my first Whole30, but I did it anyway. We went to some fabulous wineries (Mission Hill, Quail’s Gate, and The Hatch), and had an even more fabulous dinner at the Terrace at Mission Hill. I was able to stay gluten-free, though did have some treats.
Breakfast: Bacon/apple/sweet potato hash with one egg
Lunch: Chicken with cashews, grapes, and some mayo, plus some apple chips (chips not pictured)
Dinner: Gluten free bread with some butter, sous vide octopus with mint yogurt and pea shoots, cherries marinated in red wine, and halibut with fresh veggies
Snack 1 (aka Dessert): Vanilla ice cream with fresh apricot puree
